In the ongoing 1st Kanawa Tertiary Institution Basketball Championship, the Northwest University Kano basketball team defeated its Khairun rivals by a score of 35–18 points.
The game that was decided upon yesterday was played at Bayero University Kano Old Site in the evening.
From the beginning until the completion of the game, the Northwest squad, led by Ibrahim Nalado and coached by Ahmad Surajo, the Ag. Director, demonstrates their dominance over the KHAIRUN team.
The other games between Baba Ahmed University and Elrazi and KHAIRUN vs. SKYLINE were easy wins because neither team showed up.
