    Inuwa appointed Kano Poly π’πˆπ–π„π’ 𝐂coordinator

    Dr. Badamasi Inuwa has been appointed by the Management of Kano State Polytechnic as the new Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) Coordinator of the polytechnic.

    According to a released signed by π‘¨π’–π’˜π’‚π’ π‘°π’”π’Žπ’‚π’Šπ’ π‘©π’‚π’ˆπ’˜π’‚π’Š, 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅, 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒍, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 π‘·π’–π’ƒπ’π’Šπ’„ π‘Ήπ’†π’π’‚π’•π’Šπ’π’π’”, the development was conveyed in a letter signed by the Deputy Registrar, General Matters, Mal. Aminu Shehu Gwarzo on behalf of the Registrar.

    Dr. Inuwa, the current HOD of Life Science is replacing Dr. Zainab Sani Kofar Mata who transferred her services to Bayero University, Kano.

    β€œYour appointment into this position of trust and confidence was made upon a careful assessment of his credentials, competence, track record of performance, and dedication to duty,” the letter added.

    The appointment which took effect from 13th June, 2023 for a period of 2 (two) years.

    β€œOn behalf of the entire KSP Community, the Kano Poly News Crew prays to Almighty Allah to guide and give him the courage and wisdom to discharge the assigned responsibility diligently,” the letter concluded.

    I was a staff of the then Triumph Newspapers, with keen interest in sports journalism which drove me to the unit where I was supported and oiled in the dynamics of modern sports reporting by my mentor/friend, Sani Zaria, the then Group Sports Editor of the Triumph. And when he left in 1995, I tried to sustain the spirit against all odds with a column sportesye. But when The Triumph was closed, I was moved to Kano Polytechnic as a lecturer until my retirement last 3 years, which gives me time to return to what I know best , the recreation of the SPORTS EYE.
