The Kano Pillars Football Club yesterday defeated its Doma United fc counterpart in the Federation Cup 2024 played at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.

According to Sharif Zahraddeen Usman kofar Nassarawa, the Media Officer of the team the encounter which took place amid rainfall  in first Half lasted for eighty minutes without a score from either sides, after which the Sai Masu Gida’s  Captain Rabi’u Ali Pele scored the lone goal of the duel in eighty eight minutes.

 Speaking shortly after the match, Executive Chairman of Kano Pillars fc, Hon Babangida Umar Little commended the efforts by the Players in winning the match.

Alh. Babangida Umar then thanked the Hon Commissioner of Sports, Mustapha Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for their continuous support to the team during home and away matches.

 On his part, Acting Technical Adviser of Kano Pillars fc, Coach Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro praised the Boys for the excellent performance.

He thanked Pillars FC Fans for their sustained zeal and commitment in cheering the Sai Masu Gida to victory at all times.

Meanwhile, Kano Pillars FC would again face Doma United FC Players  in the 2023/24 NPFL season on Sunday 26/05/2024  in its home match Day 33 to be played at Sani Abacha  Stadium Kofar Mata, Kano.

 Kano Pillars FC now occupies the 10th position on the Nigeria Premier Football League table with 44 points while Doma United fc is 17th with 39 points.
