In preparation of the new football season, the management of Kano Pillars football club is reported to have moved the team to Daura, Katsina state for playing tour and camping.

According to our findings, the management of the team has taken the decision to move the club out of the state secretly in order to prepare the team for the task before the team.

The team is expected to play some friendly matches with unidentified number of teams before the commecement of the league. 

The club’s Interim Management Committee could not be reached to confirm the story but a member of the club’s media committee, Muhammad Wasilu Kawo has confirmed the club’s moves to Daura but could not add specifically the reason for the relocation.

But other sources have indicated that the club will be in Daura for rigorous training and camping.

It could be recalled that IMC have announced 28 of this month as the tentative date for the commencement of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
