Kano State Polytechnic yesterday evening became the third semi-finalist in the on-going 11th Kano State Higher Institution Games (KASHIGA) otherwise known as  Governor’s Cup.

The Poly team scaled through to the semi-finals after their 5-4 penalties victory over the Federal University of Education Kano team after the  two sides’ 90 minutes game ended 1-1.

The last quarter finals match between College of Nursing and ECOHSAT ended 2-2 and the penalty kick that was supposed to decide the winner also ended 11-11.

And due to the darkness, the penalties were rescheduled to today by 10:00am at the same center.

In another development, the two semi-finals will be decided concurrently between ABCOAD and Kano Poly by 4:00pm at the Saadatu Rimi College of Education.

The other match is between Tropical COHT and the winner between ECOHSAT and Col. Of Nursing that will be decided this morning  at the  Federal University of Education Kano by 4:00pm.
