Kano Pillars TAship: Yaro Yaro to replace Abdallah?

It is authoritative that the management and a few influential Kano Pillars Football Club supporters are considering replacing Usman Abdallah, the team’s suspended technical adviser, with Ahmad Garba, aka Yaro Yaro.

This according to our findings is attributable to a multitude of reasons ranging from the restoration of sanity, discipline and understanding in the team which were lacking Coach Usman Abdallah.

This site’s findings further revealed that the players have shown some discernible discipline, mental calm, and comprehension since the acting technical adviser, Yaro-Yaro over the team as an acting Head Coach.

Additionally, it was learned that since Coach Abdallah was suspended, the players’ dedication to the game, cohesiveness, and style of play had all wonderfully improved.

For this and many more reasons, some of the club’s top supporters and some management have begun to try to convince the chairman and other members of the management that Yaro Yaro could be a suitable replacement for Abdallah.

Similarly, despite their close 2-1 loss to Remo Stars in Ikenne on Saturday, the club chairman, Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, was cited as praising the players’ and technical staff’s effort.

According to reports, Mai Samba was complimenting the team’s tenacity and resolve under the headship of Ahmed Garba Yaro-Yaro, the acting head coach, an indication that something might have been going under the ground.

Although the outcome was disappointing, the chairman was said to be pleased with their effort and emphasized that the players’ incredible fighting spirit was a testament to their development and their ability to compete at the highest level under Yaro Yaro.

As you may remember, Usman Abdallah, the Kano Pillars Football Club’s technical adviser, was asked to serve a three-week suspension for his remarks made during the team’s goalless draw with the visiting Bayelsa United FC in Kano.

Chairman Mai Samba, was reportedly on his way home from their away match, therefore his line was cut off, making it impossible to get in touch with him at the time of printing.

I was a staff of the then Triumph Newspapers, with keen interest in sports journalism which drove me to the unit where I was supported and oiled in the dynamics of modern sports reporting by my mentor/friend, Sani Zaria, the then Group Sports Editor of the Triumph. And when he left in 1995, I tried to sustain the spirit against all odds with a column sportesye. But when The Triumph was closed, I was moved to Kano Polytechnic as a lecturer until my retirement last 3 years, which gives me time to return to what I know best , the recreation of the SPORTS EYE.
