To complete the newly reconstituted Governing Council of the Kano State Polytechnic, the Polytechnic Academic Board popularly known as is the PAB has conducted a keenly contested election to send two members as representatives.
According to the result of the election, the: two top members with highest votes are the winners that will represent the board in the council.
Those that scaled through to represent the PAB are Eng. Dr. Ibrahim Usman Aikawa who scored 36 votes followed by Dr. Umar Muhammad Kibiya who scored 26 votes
Others that contested and were unable to get the PAB ‘s members mandate are Ashiru Abdullahi who scored : 23 votes, Rahmatu Adamu Muhammad 13 votes and Ibrahim Dalha 8 votes.
According to our findings the exercise was conducted peacefully in a friendly manner.
