The new Board of Trustees for the Society of Promotion of Sports was born with Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel (President Nigerian Olympic Committee) as Chairman BOT.
The board which is in the process of registration in the CAC, has as members Rear Admiral FBI Porbeni CFR, mni (President Nigeria Rowing, Canoeing Sailing Federation), Vincent Michael Taberah (President SP Sports), Mr. Jibrin Saidu (Secretary General CommonWealth Handball Association) and Engr. Musa Nimrod (President Nigeria VolleyBall Federation).
The rest are Commodore ML Barau, MON, mni, Mrs. Regina Aloho Michael (Chairperson Women Right in Sports Association), Mr. Kayode Adeniyi (General Manager NTA Sports) and Dr. Said Mijinyawa (Board of Trustees Chairman National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) are members of the board.
The board management are Vincent Michael Taberah, President Bashir Ahmad Maizare Phd, Former Director of Sports, Kano State as Secretary General, Jude Opara, Director Media, Regina Alodo Michael, Director Event Management and Planning and Alh. Mustapha Lima Director Technical.
