To bring changes and positive development in the image making section of Kano Pillars FC, a new Media Officer has been appointed for the club.

He is  Sharif Zahraddeen Usman Kofar Nassarawa who has since replaced the former Media Officer of the club, Lurwanu  Idris Malikawa.

Sharif, who is a staff of Kano State Ministry of Information since 2009 is soliciting for every stakeholder’s support and assistance to move mountains and project the team and its activities positively.

Sharif  who has since resumed duties is presently in Enugu the venue of Kano Pillars wee five match against Enugu Rangers coming Sunday.

It could be recalled that Shehu Adamu of NTA Kano was the first MO of the club where he served between 2004 to 2009.

Rilwanu Idris Malikawa Garu of Radio Kano was the second MO who served between 2010 to 2023.

While Sharif Zaharadeen Usman Kofar Nassarawa of Min. of Information Kano State is the third who just assumed office.

I was a staff of the then Triumph Newspapers, with keen interest in sports journalism which drove me to the unit where I was supported and oiled in the dynamics of modern sports reporting by my mentor/friend, Sani Zaria, the then Group Sports Editor of the Triumph. And when he left in 1995, I tried to sustain the spirit against all odds with a column sportesye. But when The Triumph was closed, I was moved to Kano Polytechnic as a lecturer until my retirement last 3 years, which gives me time to return to what I know best , the recreation of the SPORTS EYE.
