The Tug of War Nigeria Federation has appointed Bahir Ahmad Maizare as the chairman of Kano state Tug of War Association.
The communication to this effect which was dated November 25, 2024 was conveyed in a letter signed by the National President of the Federation, Isaac Osaikhiwu.
“We bring you sporting compliments from the board and members of Tug of War Federation.
“We write to inform you that having looked at your credentials and laudable achievements, especially with regards to sports development in Kano state, we write to inform you that you have been officially appointed as the chairman Kano state Tug of War Association”, the letter stated.
“By this appointment, you are to conduct the affairs and activities of the association in Kano state”, it added.
“We expect you to use your experience to ensure the growth and development of the sport in the state”, the letter concluded.
