Today, the United Nations Building in the Diplomatic Zone of Abuja is hosting a two-day capacity building meeting for journalists covering the environment and climate.
With assistance from the International Labour Organization (ILO) and Comrade Sani Baba’s the Citizens Free Service Forum (CFSF) is organizing the gathering.
The meeting’s topic is Training on Climate Change and Just Transition for Media Professionals, and attendees are anticipated to include Com. Michael Oche, Senior Correspondent, Leadership Newspaper, Com. Dr. Margaret Ibeku, PASAN, Comrades Apollos Christian, Labour/Climate Change Senior Correspondent; Comrade Joan Nwagwu, Senior Correspondent, News Agency of Nigeria/Climate Change Reporter; Comrade John Moses, GS, JUSUN (Freelance Journalist); and Nkoli Omhoudu, Senior Environmental Correspondent, African Independent Television.
Other members include Comrade Benjamin Gudaku, Deputy General Secretary, RATTAWU/Member NLC CC Network; Comrade Chinyere Amogu, Assistant Focal Person, NLC Climate Change Program; Comrade Sani Baba, Executive Director, CFSF; Comrade Bomoi Ibrahim Mohammed, DED Programs CFSF; Comrade Mashe Gwamna, People’s Daily; and Comrade Dapam Legnan Tobias, The Voice.
