The Katsina State Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN has commended Katsina United Football Club for their performance in the on-going Nigerian National League (NNL) Super Eight in Asaba, Delta state.

This was made known though a released signed by the association chairman Nasir Sani Gide which was made available to the www.sportseye.com.

The release further acknowledged the commitment of the current Club Chairman Surajo Baba Malumfashi and that of the entire Management Staff, Players as well as the Technical Crew for making the entire Katsina people happy.

“It is a fact that the entire people of the state are happy with the team for securing promotion back to Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL,” the released added.

“It’s undeniably fact that the whole state are pleased and happy with the team for getting advancement back to the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL,” the released added.

The association further explained that with this development, the image of Katsina State will be back in the sporting arena of the country.

The chairman Nasir Gide on behalf of the association then commended the efforts of the present Administration under the able leadership of Mal Dikko Umar Radda for the support given to the Club which attributed to the latest development in the sporting sector.
