Four teams have booked their places in the semi-finals of the ongoing KASHIGA Staff Games following exciting quarter-final encounters across the various centres.
At the Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso Centre, the Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology, FCAPT, edged the Federal University of Science and Technology, Kabo, 6–5 on penalties after the match ended goalless in regulation time.
Elsewhere, Northwest University secured its semi-final ticket with a convincing 2–0 victory over Capital City at the Yusuf Maitama Sule Federal University of Education Centre.
At the Northwest University Centre, Federal College of Education Technical, Bichi, knocked out Bayero University Kano, BUK, 3–1 on penalties after both sides played out a goalless draw.
In another quarter-final encounter, the College of Nursing defeated Yusuf Maitama Sule Federal University of Education 2–0 to complete the semi-final line-up.
FCAPT, Northwest University, FCE Technical Bichi and the College of Nursing will now battle for places in the final as the KASHIGA Staff Games enter the decisive stage.
