Sabon Gari football coaches society has been inaugurated in Kano state.

Inaugurating the society, the chairman of Kano state football coaches chapter, Magistrate Ibrahim Gwadabe encourage them to acquire more knowledge on the law of the game.

Magistrate Ibrahim Gwadabe who double as the executive member of the national coaches Association said that acquiring the knowledge of the game will go along way in contributing to the development of football in the area and state as well as in the country.

He explained that the state chapter will work hand in hand with Sabon Gari society aimed at moving the state to greater heights.

Earlier, the chairman of the occasion, Chief Julius Madu Orji assured to continue to support the society morally and finally with a view to actualize their set objective.

In his remarks, the chairman of Sabon Gari football Management, Sir Mike Anike described the inauguration as timely considering the fact that a lot football competitions have been lined up in the 2025 calendar in Sabon Gari area.

Sir Mike Anike however, expressed appreciation to the Kano state Football Association for the support and cooperation, assuring that the management will continue do it’s best towards the overall development of the game in the area, state and the country at large.

Responded on behalf of the executive members, the chairman of the society, Francis Obinwe solicited the support and cooperation from the football stakeholders in the area towards restoring good image of Sabon Gari area as far as football is concern in the state.

Francis Obinwe who was one time national football player, said that the society has mapped out its programme especially concerning participation of its members on various coaching courses within and outside the state in order to develop their knowledge and skills in football coaching.

Highlights of the event include presentation of certificates to the newly inaugurated executive members at the occasion.

Prominent personalities who attended the event include the former captain of Raccah Rovers Football Club, Husseini Alabi, his teammate, Idris Musa  among others.
