The Kano chapter of the Nigerian Football Coaches Association has expressed its condolences to the Kano State government, the Kano State Sports Commission, and the National Sports Commission for the tragedy that took place on Saturday a few kilometres from Kano metropolis.
About 22 Kano state festival team members lost their lives in the Dakatsalle village incident while returning home.
In a statement provided to this site by the association’s public relations officer, Jabir Hassan, on behalf of chairman Barrister Ibrahim Gwadabe, the association expressed sympathy to the government, the victims’ families, and their friends, and prayed for the peace of their departed souls.
The association also sent prayers and best wishes for a quick recovery to those who were hurt.
